Cancellation Policy

COVID-19 Update

May 2022: We are continuing with all of our school consultancy visits either online or in person.  All courses will be run online for the foreseeable future.

Remote support can take various forms:

  • Moderation support (we are all approved moderators)
  • Policy writing
  • Creating Curriculum Overviews
  • Writing bespoke planning sequences/ creating book-based curriculum projects

We are happy to work with teachers to provide planning and assessment support via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Please bear us in mind for any of your consultancy needs.

Inset and Consultancy

If an Inset or consultancy booking is cancelled less than one calendar month prior to the agreed date of delivery, 50% of the fee will be charged.

If an Inset or consultancy booking is cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the agreed date of delivery, 100% of the fee will be charged.

Requests for rescheduled bookings will be considered if a future booking can be agreed and confirmed for later in the academic year from the original inset date, however rescheduling will not be considered any less than one calendar month prior to the agreed delivery date.

Any accomodation and travel expenses incurred will be charged.

Before cancelling an Inset, please consider whether you could have the Inset online. Our consultants are happy to lead Insetsonline and we would give the school 10% off to reflect the printing costs not taking place. All handouts would be sent in advance of the Inset via WeTransfer.Training Courses

Cancellation for delegates booked onto Literacy Tree courses made more than 14 days prior to course commencement will not incur cancellation charges. Cancellations within 5 to 14 days of course commencement will incur a 50% cancellation fee, between 0 and 5 days will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Individual Memberships

Individual memberships can be cancelled any time after the three month minimum term. All unused tokens will remain in your account after the membership has been terminated.  New individual members will receive two tokens upon sign-up, but only one token will given to customers who are rejopining the service who have previously cancelled their memberships. To cancel your individual membership after three months, log in and go to ‘My Payment Options’ under the ‘Member Links’ section and here you will see a ‘Cancel Membership‘ button.
