Our flagship schools have been chosen for their innovative use of our book-based approach across the curriculum. They have adopted and adapted our planning sequences to complement their own topics or use our themes. Our flagship schools enjoy sharing how they have used the sequences to support engagement and raise attainment in English with new schools looking to change their pedagogy and curriculum. If you wish to visit any of these schools, we can arrange a suitable time to visit. Alternatively, if you are interested in finding out about becoming a flagship school, do contact us on [email protected]
Our Lead Teachers work in Literary Curriculum schools and have a wide range of expertise in using and adapting a book-based curriculum. Many of them are subject leaders and are happy to share their stories of implementation and impact.
These schools are trialling hosting libraries for us that will be built up over the year (according to the suggested curriculum map) containing books within the Literary Curriculum for schools to borrow. This will be a free service for schools to use who have whole school memberships. For the next year we are focussed on building collections of the novels within the Literary Leaf section of the Literary Curriculum and each school will have a set of 15 of each title. (Bilton Infants will only have the books listed within Y2) Please get in touch with us [email protected] if you have a request you would like to make. Schools will need to make their own arrangements to pick up books and return them on designated days at the end of a half-term. In the future we would love to have some more varied locations so please get in touch if you think you could host one in your school!
